– How large is the doggie playground and swim time area?
A – We have gone through four expansions due to its popular demand and currently it is 5,200 square feet.Q – How big is the swimming pool?A – The pool is 4 feet deep and 18 feet in diameter.Q – Does my dog go out with other ones during playtimes?A – During playtimes, we are very cautious about matching dogs that are sociable. We do let all dogs that are compatible play with each other. All non-sociable ones are taken out individually. They are also matched by size.Q – How many dogs are in the playground at one time?A – We usually allow from 10 to 15 dogs to play at once.Q - Are the playtimes and swim times monitored?A – There is someone in the playground at all times. The pool is only open when someone can get in the water to lifeguard.Q – When does the pool open and close?A – The pool opens Memorial Day and closes Labor Day. (Weather permitting)
Bluegrass Kennels Playground Playtime and swim time is a great break for the pets here at the kennel. It allows them to interact with other animals and the staff outside the kennel environment. As you can see from the pictures, our playground has been designed for the safety and fun of your pets. We have it stocked with balls, pull ropes, tetherball swings, ramps, Kongs, and so on. It also has a total of four ramps for the "Dog of the Hill" in your pet! Come out for a tour and you will see it has everything your pet could possibly need for a good time.
